Welcome to the 2024 Fall Sports/Competitive Coaches Registration with Millard United Sports.

This registration session will allow you to provide coach, team and initial roster information. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

MUS has a no cut policy for our Classic Baseball, In-House Softball, and Football programs. If a player from your roster the previous spring season requests to return to your team, they will be placed on your roster before any new players are added.

ALL MUS HEAD OR ASSISTANT COACHES HAVE REQUIREMENTS TO COMPLETE FOR EACH SEASON/SPORT:

Baseball/Softball/Cheer/Flag Assistant Coach:

1.   MUS Coach Registration - Completed for Each Season/Each Sport/Each Team.
2.   Background Check - Every 2 Years 
3.   Concussion Awareness Training - Completed by NEW Coaches.  MUS may accept a completed certificate that has a date within 6 months of the MUS requirement date for this requirement provided it complies with all local, state/federal legislation/regulation and is from a National Governing Body, you can submit that to the Millard United office.  A refresh course is encouraged on a bi-annual basis & info for refreshers will be sent out by MUS in advance of each season. (Meets NE Concussion Awareness Act).
4.   SafeSport Player Protection Training - Completed by NEW Coaches.  MUS may accept a completed certificate that has a date within 6 months of the MUS requirement date for this requirement provided it complies with all local, state/federal legislation/regulation and is from a National Governing Body, you can submit that to the Millard United office.  A refresh course is encouraged on a bi-annual basis & info for refreshers will be sent out by MUS in advance of each season.  (Meets SafeSport Act, 2017). 

Flag Football Head Coaches: 

1.   MUS Coach Registration - Completed for Each Season/Each Sport/Each Team.

2.   Background Check - Every 2 Years 

3.  USA Football Flag Football Certification - New Coaches and/or Every Other Year

Tackle Football - Head & Assistant Coaches:

1.   MUS Coach Registration - Completed for Each Season/Each Sport/Each Team.

2.   Background Check - Every Year

3.  USA Football Tackle Football Certification - Every Year

MUS WILL CONTACT YOU WITH DETAILS IF YOU NEED TO COMPLETE ANY OF THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON.   YOU WILL BE ASKED TO COMPLETE IF:

• We do not have a background check on file for you or do not have record of completing Safe Sport or Concussion Awareness Training and/or USA Football Certification. 
• Your background check, is over 24 months or will expire before the completion of the sport season being coached.

NOTE: Some sports/divisions have different requirements; please see the above outlined info for details.

IF YOU PLAN TO COACH MULTIPLE TEAMS (I.E TWO TEAMS IN DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS) YOU WILL NEED TO FILL OUT ONE REGISTRATION FOR EACH TEAM.  YOU WILL HAVE THE OPTION TO "ADD ON" AT THE END OF THE REGISTRATION.
