In 2020, Millard United Sports launched our Umpires program and it was a success!  The purpose of this program is to provide anyone ages 12 years or older with a passion for baseball/softball and/or youth sports an opportunity to be introduced to the noble profession of umpiring.  This program provides fundamental training on how to be an umpire and a more relaxed environment to hone their craft.  MUS Umpires participate in training and officiate MUS Classic Baseball games and/or In-House Softball games for the Spring or Fall season .  Through this program, Umpires will be providing a valuable needed service to MUS athletes while getting the chance to make some cash in the process!  More importantly, as MUS Umpires gain experience and develop confidence, they will have the opportunity to move on to more advanced training with Premier Sports Officials Association, the umpiring partner of Millard United Sports, where they will get the opportunity to work as an umpire at multiple levels of baseball competition.

MUS Umpires are paid according to the age of the games umpired starting at $20 per game plus a concession coupon for post-game refueling.  MUS Umpires will be provided with a flexible schedule and an umpire jersey by MUS.
